Olivier PY
Olivier Py was born in Grassa in the south of France. He studied classics before entering Paris’ theater conservatory. He rapidly switched from acting to directing, establishing his own theater company, L’inconvenient des boutures, with whom he has created at least one play a year, most of which he wrote himself. In the cinema, he has acted for Cédric Klapisch, Michel Deville and Laurent Bénégui, among others. Since 1998, Py has been the director of the National Center for Dramatic Arts in Orléans-Loiret. In 2000, he directed Les Yeux fermés, his first feature film.
